The Greek man stared at the door in front of him blankly. Never before had he seen a door this intricate and beautiful before. Japanese culture had always fascinated Greece, but he'd never had the chance to encounter it right before his eyes. This was the first time Greece had ever visited the Japanese man. They'd never even exchanged conversations with each other. Just the casual, "Hello," or, "Thank you," when he'd hold the door open for him at World Conferences. On this particular day however, there was nothing going on so Greece thought he'd give it a try to meet the short, dark-haired man.

"I hope he's not busy..." Greece thought to himself as he raised his hand to knock on the Shoji door. However, before his hand made contact with the door, it slowly slid open to a crack and an Asian face peeped through. Shock appeared on the Japanese man's face. Greece slowly lowered his hand, his face flushing from embarrassment.
"Ah, G-Girisha-san. H-How may I help you?"

Clearing his throat, Greece forced out, "Um, I just-" Greece stopped as he saw Japan staring at at what he had in his arms. Greece smiled and held his cat up to Japan. "Her name's Hera. Would you like to hold her?"

Japan blushed and smiled slightly. He slid the door open all the way, disclosing his full body, and stepped outside. Greece gently set Hera in Japan's arms. Japan's smile widened as Hera cuddled up close to his face, purrs heard loud and clear.

"She likes you," Greece remarked. Japan looked at Greece and smiled with a slight blush on his face. After returning the blush, Greece added, "It's not every day she likes someone when first meeting them. She usually hisses and scratches them, especially Turkey..." True fact.

"Ah, I see. Well I like her too," Japan responded and scratched behind Hera's ears, uttering more purrs from Hera and a childish smile spreading across Japan's face.
Greece smiled. He and Japan were going to be great friends, he could tell.
