I almost lost him once but I think your faith made him stronger," you sit next to him and swing your finger at the cross hanging from his neck, "so I should be thanking you!" It truly was a miracle how that cat survived. [APH] GreecexReader - The Vet, Ch. 01Phew! What a long day at work! You sit back in your office chair as you brush your hair back with your hands. You mostly had paperwork and stuff to go over, but you also had to care for a sick cat and put a dog down. This job is really tough! It's not the quantity of the work that's tough, it's the sight of suffering animals and death. "It's just the way of life, I guess."Sighing, you get up from your office chair and flip the sign on the door to indicate that the vet is closed and walk around the shop to turn off the lights and check to see if there any flaws or anything of that sort in the shop. Satisfied, you put on your coat, grab your keys and your bag, and head out of the shop and into the night, locking the door on your way out.You walk down the road to your parked car about half a block away. You're just about to unlock your car when you spot the figure of a man down on his knees looking down at something on the ground across the street. How odd...Hesitantly, you walk across
